Rosevale 55th Annual Sale - 27th September 2011
Rosevale 55th Annual Sale will take place on Tuesday 27th September, 2011. The sale is set to commence at 12 noon and forms part of the "Big Red Santa Week" including the "Dangarfield" Sale at Taroom, Wandoan Breeders Sale at Wandoan, and "Santa Central" Sale at Nobby.
On offer at Rosevale will be 157 bulls. All bulls will be Semen Morphology tested. All bulls will also be vaccinated with 7-in-1, for vibrio, 
3-day sickness and redwater (with 3-germ blood).
The Rosevale Sale Team in 2011 will represent one of the highest performing mobs of Santa Gertrudis bulls available for sale in the year. The average June 2011 Santa Gertrudis Group Breedplan EBVs for the team of sale bulls is shown below:

The above EBVs rank the average Rosevale sale bull in the top 20% of the Santa Gertrudis breed for $Index values for both the Domestic & Export markets. This level of performance is recognition of the balanced approach to breeding embraced at Rosevale.
It is planned that a number of females will be offered at the sale also. At present, two cows and calves have been selected while a number of PTIC 'S' heifers and cows will also be catalogued once pregnancy testing is complete. These females represent some of the best genetics at Rosevale and the mating sires represent a selection of some of our top sires. Further details will be available by mid August.
