Private Sales

As of October 1st, 2009, 40 Rosevale bulls are available for private sale. All bulls are vaccinated for Redwater with 3-germ-blood and for BEF (3-day sickness). All are grown and prepared on pasture, ready to go to work in any environment.

The information in the table (in the above word document) is reasonably self explanatory. Photos of some of the sires can be viewed in the Sires section of the website.

The Breed column states whether the bulls are purebreds or have a percentage of another breed. Abbreviations used include: S=Santa; Char=Charolais; R Ang=Red Angus; Shorn= Shorthorn.

The 400 Days Wgt Rank shows where each bull ranked in their group when weighed at 400 days. For example, at 47/148, D134 ranked as the 47th heaviest bull out of 148 in his group.

Flight Time measurements are a record of the time taken to cover a short distance when leaving a crush and are a guide to temperament. For more information view Genetics/Flight Time.

$Index Values are available for those bulls with Santa Gertrudis Group Breedplan EBV's. By combining all available growth, carcase and fertility information, BreedObject $Indexes reank animals for most profitable, specific to a particular market. Rosevale 53rd Annual Sale - 22nd September 2009

Rosevale 53rd Annual Sale will take place on Tuesday 22nd September, 2009. The sale is set to commence at 1.30pm and forms part of the "Big Red Santa Week" including the "Dangarfield" Sale at Taroom, Wandoan Breeders Sale at Wandoan, "Greenup" Sale at Kumbia and "Santa Central" Sale at Nobby.

On offer at Rosevale will be 130 bulls. All bulls will be Semen Morphology tested. All bulls will also be vaccinated with 7-in-1, for vibrio, 3-day sickness and redwater (with 3-germ blood).

The Rosevale Sale Team in 2009 will represent one of the highest performing mobs of Santa Gertrudis bulls available for sale in the year. The average Santa Gertrudis 2009 Group Breedplan EBVs of the team of sale bulls is shown below:

The above EBVs ranked the average Rosevale sale bull in the top 10% of the Santa Gertrudis breed for $Index values for both the Domestic & Export markets - thats POWERFUL PERFORMANCE.

Three classified 'S' heifers have also been catalogued for the 53rd Sale. These represent some of the best genetics at Rosevale and are PTIC Cooinda Bullion.

From Jandowae
At the Bowls Club, turn into Myall Street. At next crossroad turn right and follow road for 20 km. Do not take 'Old Rosevale Road'.

From Kingaroy
Through Kumbia 16.5 km towards Dalby, cross Spring Creek, turn right before power line and follow signs to 'Rosevale', 26 km. There will be one turn to the left after 13 km.
