ROSEVALE QUIGLEY Q98 (P)
Rosevale Quigley Q98(P) is a Majestic son out of another grand old matron, this time with a
breeding record of ten years straight.
Quigley was used in the herd as a sire for one season before selling as a three-year-old for the
sale top price of $60,000 in 2021 to the Goodland Family’s Wightfields Stud. Quigley’s sons on
offer in this sale have been bred in the Wightfields Herd.
Due to the performance recording and commitment to breeding quality cattle Geoff
Goodland employed in his herd over the years these cattle have always interested us.
Wightfields bulls such as Crackerjack C75(PS) and Downpour were purchased and made big
impacts in our herd.
In an agreement made with Jason Goodland who now oversees the herd, we have taken on
their leading bull calves for three years now.
Quigley Q98(P) was purchased to make an impact on the herd and he certainly has done
that. He covers a wide range of traits very solidly and has produced a very consistent line
of calves that are long bodied with slick, dark coat types. Their structural and reproductive
soundness are a feature.
